|  Alpha Packaging has expanded
its line of polyethylene terephthalate (PET) wide mouth
jars to include 25-ounce and 32-ounce styles. Both
jars have an 89-400 neck finish and are ideal for a
variety of personal care and nutritional products,
including creams, ointments, pastes and dry products
such as powders, crystals and bath salts.
With the addition of the two new styles,
Alpha now offers customers seven sizes of PET wide
mouth jars. Other sizes include a 4-ounce “low-profile” heavy-weight
jar with a 70-400 neck; an 8-ounce jar with a 70-400
neck; an 8-ounce “low-profile” heavy-weight
jar with an 89-400 neck; and both a 16-ounce jar and
a 19-ounce jar with an 89-400 neck.
Alpha’s in-house design and tooling
departments created the preforms for the jars in response
to customers who wanted the look of glass jars, but
the benefits of PET.
Alpha will stock all seven sizes of the PET jars in
clear and opaque white; some sizes will also be stocked
in clear frost. Cobalt blue and dark green PET jars
will be available to customers with no minimum.
With Alpha Packaging’s limitless color matching
for PET, customers can match the color of their wide
mouth jars to existing packaging lines for brand appeal.
Custom colors are available for relatively small minimum
orders. Custom-colored jars will be delivered within
four to six weeks of the order date.
Alpha can also provide closures for the jars; closures
are sold separately.
