Alpha Packaging is introducing 10 new bottles and jars at the HBA Global Expo this week in New York City. The new styles range in size from 2 ounces to 16 ounces, and include jars, cylinders and oblongs developed especially for the health and beauty market. Alpha will offer these styles as part of its growing stock line of personal care packaging.

New items being introduced at the HBA Global Expo include:

• 2-ounce and 3-ounce PET Jars, both with a 58-400 neck finish.
• 2-ounce and 6-ounce PET Drug Oblongs. The 2-ounce Drug Oblong has a 20mm “SP” neck that accepts both a 20-400 and 20-410 closure. The 6-ounce Drug Oblong features a 24-400 neck finish.
• A 4-ounce PET Squat Boston Round with a 20-SP neck finish.
• A 4-ounce PET Cylinder with a 20-SP neck finish.
• An 8-ounce PET low-profile Jar with a 100-400 neck finish.
• 8-ounce and 12-ounce HDPE Cosmo Rounds. The 8-ounce Cosmo has a 24-410 neck finish, and the 12-ounce style is available with either a 24-410 or 24-415 neck.
• A 16-ounce PET oblong with a 28-400 neck finish.

Seven of the new featured products have been put together in a single Sample Pack that customers can order online. A link to the 2007 HBA Sample Pack is located on Alpha’s home page at www.alphap.com.

Most of the new styles will be stocked in clear and light amber, and additional colors – including custom colors – will be available with very short lead times.
