Alpha Packaging has completed its line of large high density polyethylene (HDPE) wide mouth rounds with the addition of four new sizes featuring indented panels.

Alpha’s indented large rounds are a new “West Coast” style created from molds housed in Alpha’s Salt Lake City facility, which gives customers on the West Coast a direct source for this popular style, saving them money on freight. The style is different than the large ware made at Alpha’s East Coast plant, and all four sizes are extrusion blow molded on brand-new equipment using new proprietary molds.

Expanding on the line that previously stopped at 600cc, the new large rounds are currently available in 2000cc, 2500cc, 3000cc and 3785cc with a 110-400 neck finish that conveniently accommodates scoops. They are available now in white, and are ideal for a variety of nutraceutical products including powders, tablets and capsules.

These four canisters are not surface-treated during the manufacturing process, so if packagers plan to use silk screen labels, labelers will need to flame-treat the bottles prior to the silk screening process. Pressure sensitive and sleeve labeling do not require any additional bottle treatment.
