Alpha Packaging has recently added three versions of a 4-ounce polyethylene terephthalate (PET) Squat Boston Round to its family of narrow-neck bottles. The new, pleasantly-rounded bottle is ideal for small volumes of personal care liquids and lotions, such as shampoos and conditioners, skin lotions and body splashes.

Alpha used existing preforms to build the new Squat Boston Rounds, and the production tooling was developed in-house by Alpha's Design and Engineering team. The 4-ounce bottles will be available in three continuous thread neck finishes (24-400, 24-410 and 24-415) to accommodate a variety of closures, pumps and sprayers.

The new bottle style is already very popular among personal care packagers, and many of Alpha's stocking distributors plan to stock the bottles in several popular colors.

With the addition of the new size, Alpha now offers customers Squat Boston Rounds in 4-ounce, 8-ounce, 12-ounce and 16-ounce sizes. It also manufactures traditional Boston Round styles in sizes ranging from 1 ounce to 16 ounces.
