Alpha Packaging has expanded its line of polyethylene terephthalate (PET) jars with the introduction of a new style, the Tuscany jars, available in 250ml and 500ml sizes. The new jars are ideal for a variety of personal care products, including creams, ointments, pastes and dry products such as powders, crystals and bath salts.

Alpha used existing preforms to build the new Tuscany jars, and the production tooling was developed in-house by Alpha's Design and Engineering team in response to requests from personal care manufacturers looking for a unique jar profile. The 250ml jar has a 70-400 neck finish and the 500ml jar has an 89-400 neck finish. Alpha plans to create more sizes in the future depending on customer requests.

Alpha will stock the new style of jars in clear and opaque white. Alpha's standard PET colors of dark green, cobalt blue, light amber, clear and white will be available with no minimum order requirement.

With Alpha Packaging's limitless color matching for PET, customers can match the color of their Tuscany jars to existing packaging lines for brand appeal. Custom colors are available within four to six weeks of the order date and require relatively small minimum orders.
