Alpha manufactures a large variety of wide mouth bottles and jars in polyethylene terephthalate (PET, or PETE; Recycle Code #1), a clear, shatterproof and recyclable plastic resin. It also accepts colorants well for transparent, translucent and opaque effects.
Our wide mouth containers have neck finishes ranging from 28-400 for a 40cc packer to 89-400 for a 32-ounce jar, but what defines a "wide mouth" style for us is one where the neck diameter is large enough to hold pills, capsules and tablets. Some necks are even large enough to accommodate scoops and spoons.
